Criteria for selection to the Hall of Fame

An official must have at least 20 years of officiating experience in a sport or a combination of sports. (Can be waived if 75% of HOF vote to change) 

The official may be active or retired from officiating.

The selection process will take place once a year with the nominations to the Hall of Fame selection committee by June 30 of the year for the selection.

There will be not more than six nominations selected from the HOF members each year. As the Hall of Fame grows, each Hall of Fame member may present one nomination to the board The HOF selection committee will select the Top Three candidates from the nominations.

All past Hall of Fame recipients will be allotted one vote for the new member. Voting will be done by secret ballot. If there is a tie, the founder Jim Kruschwitz, will cast the deciding vote. If Jim has passed on or is no longer capable of making the decision, this responsibility will be turned over to his Wife Cathy. She will make the deciding vote or appoint one of the Hall of Fame members to make the decision. If Cathy has passed on or is no longer capable of making the decision, names of the Hall of Fame members will be put in a hat and a name drawn for the final vote. 

The new member selected to the Hall of Fame will be announced and the presentations will be presented in August at one of the sport games or at some other venue determined by the HOF Board in August. In the future, the board should take a hard look at doing the presentation in another formal venue. 

A certificate will be provided to the Hall of Fame recipient. This will be theirs to take with them. They will also be presented with a jacket with their name and year of induction. A plaque/trophy, etc will be made and each of the Hall of Fame members and will have their name and year of induction on it.

Each Hall of Fame member will wear their jacket to the presentation of the new inductees.

Each member will make an honest attempt to be at all of the new inductions.
